Job Overview:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining a high level of awareness with customer activities and detail-oriented order status management
  • Communicating regularly with customers to provide updates on schedule, expediting, maintaining changes as required by the customer or MSI, and ensuring Account Mangers are engaged as necessary
  • Follow orders from order entry through shipping and keeping the customer informed of any delays as reported by production. This will involve extensive communication with other departments at MSI as well as Account Managers
  • Addressing customer questions and solving issues that may arise in the processing of orders
  • Strengthening customer relationships through professional, prompt, and detailed communications as necessary
  • Fielding, processing, and answering requests from customers for order updates, quotes, and technical information
  • Following up on quotes and providing pricing as required
  • Maintain accurate account, contact and activity information in salesforce.com.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.
  • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedure.  
  • Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
  • Must have a basic understanding of computers.
  • Must have either a High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and oral.
  • Strong computer skills with proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
