We have an exciting opportunity to join the Abound Business Unit to support Carrier in its journey to establishing new digital offers. We are looking for someone who can bring project management expertise and capabilities to strengthen this skill set in the organization. We are seeking a Program
Program Manager who is responsible to identify gaps from both an operational and a project perspective and collaborating with the functional teams to address them. Supporting a project would include defining the project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organizing and leading project status and working meetings; preparing and distributing progress reports; managing risks and issues; correcting deviations from plans, and performing delivery planning for assigned projects. The incumbent will coordinate the successful execution of the functional transformation by identifying and engaging stakeholders through the journey. In performing this role, the Program Coordinator will be expected to blend traditional project management principles and practices with an agile development approach in the right proportions to fit the projects.
Key responsibilities are:
Run weekly workstream calls on Asana and update status on the Abound macro plan
Assist in keeping a check on the Abound budget plan and drive interlock with Finance to keep business unit spending within a budget
Partner with the sales team and assist in running the weekly sales forecast call.
Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned project transformations and be able to own and coordinate the associated project plan for successful execution
Demonstrate broad knowledge of project management tools and processes
Coordinate with functional/BU stakeholders to maintain and adjust a transformation roadmap based on business needs
Create, track and maintain a project plan to support the transformation roadmap
Performs the overall day-to-day management of multiple projects to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints
Responsible for project documentation including project plan and weekly status reports
Reports project progress on a regular basis to ensure the project’s overall direction and integrity
Performs management of the risks of the project, including the development of contingency plans
Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary
Ensure project objectives are understood and met, ensuring that the Project Team members understand the requirements
Ensure all stakeholders are adequately consulted or engaged on key deliverables for their respective functional area
What We are Looking for:
Education and Certifications:
A University degree in business or a related area o Certification such as PMP is preferred
Agile certifications such as SAFe is a plus
Experience using tools like Asana or Monday.com is a plus
A Finance and-or Accounting background is a plus
Experience with Salesforce to pull sales pipeline information is a plus
Knowledge/Experience
3+ years of proven track record of successful project management in a complex, matrixed environment with multi-functional, global teams o Experience and exposure with PMO tools (e.g. Project Scheduling Tools, Resource Planning, Risk Registers)
Competent user of Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Word, and Visio
Extremely organized with superior follow-up and follow-through
Exceptional communication skills and ability to tailor communications to audiences at all levels, including senior leadership
Highly self-motivated and self-directed
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, global environment
