JOB SUMMARY:
Assemble and build sub-assemblies and valves while testing for leaks and quality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Clean parts and components in a parts washer using specified solvent and chemicals as required wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Prepare parts for the next stage of assembly process as instructed by supervisor or trainer.
- Put together basic sub-assemblies.
- Check all work for quality.
- Verifies part quantities and quality against work orders.
- Identifies and is accountable for various parts and materials.
- Fills out any paperwork and logs as necessary for tracking purposes.
- Complies with Safety policy and practice.
- Assembles more complex sub-assemblies as needed for production.
- Back pressure tests valves for leaks.
- Builds valves using sub-assemblies and components as required.
- Lift checks valves.
- Run inlet bases as required.
- Engrave valve with tracking and identification information.
- Lock down nozzles per print.

- Ability to function effectively both individually and as part of a team.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong organization skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow engineering prints for assembly.
- Ability to use various tools and equipment required by job duties.
- Ability to decipher and understand work orders.
- Ability to operate a golf cart is preferred.
