7th Grade History Teacher (Co-Teaching ELA) | Full-Time

Staffing Boutique is seeking a passionate and engaging 7th Grade History Teacher to join a collaborative middle school team immediately. This educator will lead Social Studies instruction while partnering closely with ELA teachers to strengthen students' reading, writing, and critical thinking skills across content areas.

What You'll Do

• Teach 7th Grade History/Social Studies courses.
• Partner with ELA teachers in a co-teaching model to support literacy development.
• Design engaging lessons that encourage inquiry, discussion, and analytical thinking.
• Help students strengthen reading comprehension, research, and writing skills through historical content.
• Use student performance data to guide instruction and support academic growth.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and fellow educators.
• Contribute to a positive, student-centered school culture.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required.
• New York State teaching certification preferred.
• Experience teaching middle school History or Social Studies preferred.
• Experience collaborating or co-teaching with ELA teachers is a plus.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to make history relevant, engaging, and accessible for diverse learners.
• Commitment to educational equity and student success.

Position Details

• Location: School-Based

• Schedule:- Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

• Start Date: Immediate Opening

• Employment Type: Full-Time
