Boeing Global Services is searching for a Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) On Site Lead at the corresponding Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) stations in Guangzhou, China (767) and San Jose, Costa Rica (737).
This is a Long Term Assignment to Guangzhou, China or San Jose, Costa Rica for a minimum of 2 years. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.
This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Seattle, WA or Long Beach, Ca for the domestic portion of this role.
Position Responsibilities:
Support Program goals and Business plan.
Ensure all deliverables (kits/tooling) are received by site.
Ensure site performs to the contract and MRO Supplier is leading the project efficiently.
Ensure the Customer is supporting the plan of program or contract.
Negotiate and approve Additional Services Requests (ASR's) for contracts final approval.
Act as the contractual interface by flowing issues to appropriate program contact.
Audit site invoices as required and per contract.
Provide coordination / resolution of operational issues between Boeing, Customer and MRO Supplier.
Provide metrics data as the need arises; build and maintain electronic database of Boeing responsible constraints.
Chair status conference call for inducted aircraft.
Assists in the reconciling of planning paper to engineering drawings to parts list.
Monitor site performance to schedule.
Collaborate with customer representative on site.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of 5 years' experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aviation industry, airline or MRO environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Experience leading/ managing technical project
Experience with commercial aircraft modification
Experience in FAA certification, airworthiness
Experience with flight line operation
Experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership.
Familiarity with local language
Typical Education and Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
