5 Axis Set Up Machinist – Aerospace Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled 5 Axis Set Up Machinist to join our growing aerospace machine shop team! For nearly 60 years, we have specialized in delivering high-precision machined components for the aerospace industry and are looking for experienced machinists who take pride in quality workmanship and tight-tolerance machining.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Wee
• Flexible start times
• 5 x 8-hour shifts

Pay

• $25 - $35+/hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate 3-5 axis milling machines
• Machine precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Maintain quality and production standards in an AS9100 environment

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to independently set up 3-5 axis mills
• Prior machining experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards
• Experience holding tight tolerances
• Strong dimensional inspection skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
