We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Safety Attendant/Firewatch for a 4-week project located in Martinez, CA, 94553. Responsibilities

• Monitor work areas for potential fire hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
• Provide immediate response to fire alarms and emergencies.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and emergency services.
• Document safety observations and incidents accurately.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in safety, firewatch, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
