We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Press Operator to join our team and contribute to our production goals.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our team at PML. This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying that products and processes meet established quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product consistency and supporting continuous improvement efforts throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products using various measurement tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Conduct audits on manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and production procedures
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities or deviations from specifications
• Accurately complete quality documentation, reports, and inspection records
• Communicate quality issues to relevant departments and support resolution efforts
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem-solving teams
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and ISO/IATF standards
• Operate and maintain testing equipment, and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• 1+ year of experience in quality control, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficient in basic math and measurement tools
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, quality data systems)
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 30lbs) and stand for 9-12 hour shifts.
• Must be able to work overtime, if scheduled.
