A Production Level I Associate participates as a member of a “Team” to accomplish shared goals and objectives.
Physical conditions: position can require standing in one position for consecutive hours throughout shift. Standing, sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, lifting up to 50lbs, pushing, pulling, walking and reaching may be required on a daily basis. Forklifts, heavy machinery and moving equipment add to noise and need for attentiveness to hazards. Allergens such as wheat, nuts, corn, soy, seed, legume, dairy and other food ingredients are used in daily bread manufacturing process. Temperature variations exist especially in freezer area and by ovens.
Shifts are generally 5 days a week 8 hours a day, with ½ hour lunch break. Overtime and weekends required as needed. PPE Requirements: company provided uniform, hard hat, earplugs, safety glasses, steel toe boots, hair net
