A Production Level I Associate participates as a member of a “Team” to accomplish shared goals and objectives.



  • Packing of frozen products into the appropriate packaging while insuring product conformity to established standards.
  • Physical counting, bagging, sorting and gathering of products, materials, or by-products of the manufacturing process.
  • Handling and placement of raw bread or cookie dough on bread boards.
  • Bake and bread rack loading and unloading, ingredient loading and unloading.
  • Maintain and clean work area, empty dumpsters and trash, keep floors clean and free of debris.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Line Helpers are required to comply with all food safety/quality policies and procedures as defined by Rich Products to include but not limited to; HACCP, cGMP’s, and general housekeeping practices.

Physical conditions: position can require standing in one position for consecutive hours throughout shift. Standing, sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, lifting up to 50lbs, pushing, pulling, walking and reaching may be required on a daily basis. Forklifts, heavy machinery and moving equipment add to noise and need for attentiveness to hazards. Allergens such as wheat, nuts, corn, soy, seed, legume, dairy and other food ingredients are used in daily bread manufacturing process. Temperature variations exist especially in freezer area and by ovens.

Shifts are generally 5 days a week 8 hours a day, with ½ hour lunch break. Overtime and weekends required as needed. PPE Requirements: company provided uniform, hard hat, earplugs, safety glasses, steel toe boots, hair net

Satisfactory drug screening and background check are post-offer pre-employment requirements.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess basic math and computer skills, as well as good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • One year of experience in a food processing/manufacturing/industrial environment is a plus
  • Must be able to listen and follow basic instructions and work routines from superiors
  • Responsible for knowing and adhering to Good Manufacturing Standards
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to complete reports and forms
  • Ability to understand and follow safety rules and instructions
  • Able to work around flour and cinnamon and other bakery ingredients as part of the daily activities
  • Frequently required standing, reaching, bending, kneeling and moving about the facility
  • Able to work in both a hot and cold environment
  • Works in high noise areas and use mandatory hearing protection
  • May be required to work various shifts
  • Works with potentially hazardous chemicals and/or equipment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
