Applicants must be willing and capable of:

Ensures operation of electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pumps, motors, hydraulics, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
Performs industrial maintenance functions in the installation, preventative maintenance, repair, modification and improvement of a wide variety of equipment
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
Determines changes in dimensional and electrical requirements of parts by inspecting and using measuring instruments
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment including welders, lathe, and mill
Troubleshoots manufacturing equipment including grinders, stuffers, and meat pumps and packaging equipment including Multivacs, slicer, and metal detectors
Troubleshoots 480V, control, VFDs, and PLCs
Assists production in setup and tear down of equipment
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Ability to work independently and a team environment

Skills/Qualifications:

Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electricity
3+ years of experience in Thermo Form Machines, Electrical, Hydraulics and PLC's
Ability to work with minimum supervision
