Our Client in Mentor has an immediate need for a 3rd Shift CNC Setup/Operator

Responsibilities

Perform standard machine shop operations, including accurate and efficient CNC machine setup.
Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications and production schedules.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Machining Supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organised work area while following all safety procedures and company policies.
Perform various machining tasks, including grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sanding.
Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools and document inspection results.
Complete and maintain required production paperwork and documentation.
Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
Use basic math skills and measuring tools such as calipers to verify part dimensions.
Communicate effectively and follow basic oral and written instructions in English.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Machining Supervisor.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, Technical School Certification, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up CNC milling machines.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines.
At least 2 years of experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Experience on 3rd Shift a Must.
