Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 3rd Shift CNC Operator to join our team at our facility in Indianapolis, IN, 46236. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines including laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools. This is a 3rd shift position, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines such as laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools
• Perform machine setups for production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machines, including laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools
• Proficient in machine setups for production runs
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation
• Familiarity with machine brands such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, and Trumpf
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work the 3rd shift schedule
