Job Overview:

 

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities, ensuring efficient operation and effective management of resources. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail to maintain optimal productivity and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Leadership:

    • Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members to ensure they meet operational objectives and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  2. Inventory Management:

    • Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile inventory records with physical stock to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  3. Operational Efficiency:

    • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize workflow and minimize operational costs.
    • Monitor and evaluate warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  4. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and inventory to identify potential hazards or defects and take appropriate corrective measures.
  5. Customer Service:

    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding inventory availability, order status, and delivery schedules in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, warehouse activities, and employee performance.
    • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least [1-2] in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards related to warehouse operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
