Position Overview
A Warehouse Coordinator will perform administrative tasks to coordinate, and support the functions of the distribution center including but not limited to the movement of merchandise, monitoring merchandise and verifying preparations involved in shipping merchandise.
Essential Job Functions
• Coordinates appropriate times for pick up and releasing of orders and/or shipments
• Monitors product/merchandise logs
• Drops orders to trigger merchandise allocation and shipment of orders
• Verify inventory so replenishment areas are well equipped
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Maintain databases
• Answers the telephone and answers questions and gives direction when needed
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• Other duties as assigned
 
Requirements
• Education: High School or equivalent
• Experience: 0-4 years experience in the field or related area
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Experience with WMS a plus. Intermediate MS Office applications including word and excel. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Working Conditions: Distribution Center. Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods, Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Other Skills/Abilities: Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions.
