Job Overview:

Henry Company (A Carlisle Company) is looking for an experienced Production Team Lead that possess a highly dynamic attitude, passionate on delivering results and experienced on continuous improvement execution. Team Lead will lead our manufacturing operations team at our Kingman, AZ facility by delivering the desired outcomes for a broad array of production and human capital initiatives.  

 

Duties of Production Team Lead:

Production Team Lead works with and supports all direct production associates. He is responsible for multiple tasks to include but not limited to production execution, monitoring of work targets and solving production-related problems. Continuous Improvement training with a track record of using in manufacturing floor environment is a definite plus.

 

More specifically this position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities and functions:

 

             Ensure all safety policies and guidelines are followed

             Monitor all available resources, set processing variables, and maintain the quality of products being produced by adhering to the set standards of production and Quality Control.

             Work and communicate clear instructions to team members and execute strategies to minimize production costs.

             Organize crews and equipment to meet day-to-day scheduled production, while motivating teammates so that they deliver a good performance

             Ensure flow of production activities is continuous and devoid of any errors

             Continuous focus on reducing or eliminating process/people downtime,

             Arrange for quick repair of machinery or equipment damage during the manufacturing process, as well as servicing them.

             Provide and foster a clean environment that is conducive for work

             Understand production rates and track KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement

             Follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for processes and systems

             Administrative work as required

             Perform all other duties as assigned or required

 

 

Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of resources
  • General knowledge of machines and tools
  • Possess strategic and tactical planning, coordination of people and allocation of resources.
  • Develop and trains a strong team with an outside-in focused culture.

 

Work Environment

The duties of this position are performed on the manufacturing floor where noise and exposure to hot temperatures during the summer months are common. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, lift and/or carry (up to 50 LBs).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with overtime work performed during peak season; therefore, ability to work flexible hours and weekends is required as needed.
