The Machine Operator in our Metal Stamping department will actively support and represent the SFS Group USA- Division Construction team by having detailed knowledge of assigned stamping equipment and operates it with highest efficiency. He/she will proactively support continuous improvement, productivity, and safety-oriented projects to further business goals |
Key Responsibilities |
- Stamping press safety and general machine operation
- Program PMC controls
- Set up press dies and loading machines with materials
- Inspect parts and follow SFS inspection processes for quality
- Support predictive and preventative maintenance process
- Requesting work to be pulled from the warehouse.
- Prevents and detects potential quality problems by following the QES (Quality, Environmental, Safety) standards
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)
- Cleaning machinery, workstation, and other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate - Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to pass forklift certification test with training
- Ability to use measuring equipment and read blue prints
- Lean knowledge, strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/ English a plus
