Job Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Job consists of cleaning and sanitizing production equipment. Requirements include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) These positions work in a wet, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. All team members will be trained on cleaning solutions prior to starting job. Must be able to work in wet conditions, must be able to climb stairs and ladders, must be able to walk for long periods of time, must be able to operate high pressure water hose for long periods of time, must be able to break apart and reassemble equipment, belts, hoses, and other parts as needed for sanitarian duties. Must wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to work all areas of the plant.

  • Must be able to perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or member or management.

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. or more.

  • Must be Lock Out Tag Out trained.
