Job Overview:

Henry (A Carlisle Company) is looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, and dependable Supervisor to lead 2nd Shift.  The Supervisor will oversee all production staff of the mill, batch, labeling and filling operations.  With a clear and strong safety background successful candidate will drive key SQDC metrics and tracking for his/her shift.


More specifically this position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities and functions:

  • Safety first focus – Drive safety culture, innovation for safety and environmental responsibility with goal to reach World Class level.
  • Focus and drive Continuous Improvement and Lean Principles.
  • Measure and meet KPI’s goals such as units per hour, quality and packaging.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated Team Building required.
  • Effectively communicate with production personnel by leading Tool Box, monitoring floor activities at least 60% of shift.
  • Perform proper planning in anticipation of peaks in orders, inventory changes and cross-train staff to meet fluctuating challenges.
  • Must be able to follow schedule when possible and report accurately any variation with Root Cause Analysis.

    • Scheduling
    • WO Control
    • Regulatory Monitoring
  • Provide administrative assistance to the operations management team as needed;
  • Performs all other assigned duties.

Physical Demands


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to do one or more of the following, separately and/or together:  stand; walk; sit; use hands, fingers and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance and depth perception.


Work Environment


The duties of the position primarily involve work on the manufacturing floor or warehouse where noise, dust and exposure to moderate to extreme temperatures are common. Some office work as well required.
