Title                      Press Assistant - MPS

Reports to            Press Room Manager

The responsibility of a MPS press assistant is to assist with the preparation, equipment and materials organization, and cleanup of the MPS Presses to ensure efficient production runs. 

1. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Setting up orders
  1. Mounting plates
  2. Pull tooling
  3. Pull inks
  4. Requesting stock required for job (communicate need to Materials Handler)
• Press clean up
  1. Print units 
  2. Printing Plates
  3. Anilox Rolls
• Waste Disposal & work area maintenance  
• Forklift License (not required)

1. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Good hand/eye coordination
• Able to read a ruler
• Able to take direction & anticipate press needs

1. ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Physical strength and stamina
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Must be able to remain on feet for long periods of time
