The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing equipment maintenance and repair. Duties also include responsibility for the safety of the equipment, in that all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines are met. Actively supports the Company’s vision and goals. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values.

This is a full time, ONSITE role based out of Naples, FL. This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule, M-F 1PM- 9PM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain facility and equipment in working conditions to acceptable levels of operating accuracy, safety and cleanliness.
  • Respond to building and equipment emergencies/outages and perform quality checks.
  • Communicate and facilitate projects with outside vendors/contractors (i.e. HVAC service, electrical, construction, landscape, etc.).
  • Take an active role in all lean initiatives as it relates to maintenance.
  • Lift up to 50lbs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None required.

QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES

In daily work, an employee is responsible to maintain or exceed the degree of excellence requested by the internal and external customers of this department. This includes following ISO 9001 policies, procedures and work instructions, using problem solving techniques to solve root causes of problems, and viewing quality as customer satisfaction. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Five years prior experience in similar position.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver’s License

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with other employees and vendors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of electricity, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and general building maintenance (structural, plumbing and carpentry). Ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment, machinery and controls. Work includes preventative maintenance and repair. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
