Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and set up machines, millwright work.
Repair, install various types of piping, replace thermocouples, light all gas burners, replace gas valves.
Welding — arc, gas, submerged arc, brazing, and cutting.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install hydraulic equipment.
Work from blueprints, sketches, or instructions to complete rough and finish carpentry. Painting according to specifications provided.
Operate pneumatic/Air Logic System.
General building maintenance and inclement weather upkeep.
Operate equipment such as lathes, saws, drill presses, and all other tools related to maintenance work.
Fills propane gas tanks.
Adjust and repair roller dies.
Grease and oil all equipment and machinery inside and outside of the plant, excluding all electric motors. Will replace bad grease fittings and wipe excess grease from equipment. Will clean and replace all air filters on production machinery. Must report all bad or worn equipment and any shortage of lubrication materials to their supervisor. Will maintain chemicals for die cooling water systems.
Performs a variety of rebuilding and repair bench-work, such as hand staplers, conveyor belts, soap agitators and pillow blocks.
Keep the oil storage room neat and clean at all times. This position requires some knowledge of the use of lubricating materials.
Responsible for keeping supervision informed of defective equipment, keeping their work areas clean, returning tools and parts to designated areas, and completing forms and reports as directed.
Fills out replacement or new order request forms using part numbers, parts manuals or existing prints, when necessary.
Picks up and delivers materials as required, in accordance with instructions of the supervisor. Maintains all necessary records in reference to trips. Requires valid driver’s license.

Receives used dies from production, washes, inspects and sorts dies as to wear and damage. Determines next size die and machines to prescribed hole size, angle, polish and close finish tolerances. Discards scrap dies.
Maintains supply of finished dies for distribution to using location. Maintains accuracy of micrometers and marks size on dies.
Maintains records. Notifies supervisor of material or die flow shortages.
The secondary responsibility of the Maintenance Mechanic is to assist Company Machinist and Electricians when needed. They may be required to help train and/or direct the work of Machine Repairmen and Helpers temporarily assigned to the department for general labor details.

Experience Requirements
Four (4) years’ experience in all skills directly related to industrial manufacturing maintenance.

Pay Range:
$51,958.00-$60,265.00
