Position: Machine Operator - Finisher/Diecutter

Key Responsibilities

Operate finisher/diecutter to produce job according to specification.
Make ready finisher/diecutter.
Load substrate, install tooling and rewind press rolls.
Ensure that print, die cutting, and label count meet specifications.
Web press rolls through the finisher/diecutter and adjust feed and tension controls.
Search for and correct problems.
Inspect labels while finisher/diecutter is running.
Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of substrate.
Oil and clean the finisher/diecutter and make minor repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance.

Requirements

Machine operator experience a plus.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
Resourcefulness and problem-solving
A team player with great communication skills
Physical strength and stamina – must be able to load printed rolls into rewinder up to 150lbs with the use of a roll mover.

This is a 2nd shift position: 12:45 pm – 8:45 pm
