Position: Machine Operator - Finisher/Diecutter

Key Responsibilities

• Operate finisher/diecutter to produce job according to specification.
• Make ready finisher/diecutter.
• Load substrate, install tooling and rewind press rolls.
• Ensure that print, die cutting, and label count meet specifications.
• Web press rolls through the finisher/diecutter and adjust feed and tension controls.
• Search for and correct problems.
• Inspect labels while finisher/diecutter is running.
• Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of substrate.
• Oil and clean the finisher/diecutter and make minor repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Machine operator experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving
• A team player with great communication skills
• Physical strength and stamina – must be able to load printed rolls into rewinder up to 150lbs with the use of a roll mover.

This is a 2nd shift position:  12:45 pm – 8:45 pm
