Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Envelope Machine Technician (Adjuster) to join the team at The Occasions Group! You'll be working alongside our Equipment Operators to monitor and maintain machines that fold and glue envelopes.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and adjust a large-scale envelope printing & gluing machine, ensuring the machine does not require frequent stops and starts
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure job specifications are met
  • Perform continuous upkeep of machine, as well as regular daily/weekly/monthly required maintenance
  • Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
  • Guide and instruct the equipment operator running the machine, working together to ensure job run meets customer expectations
  • Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
  • Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment


Your Shift:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am (4 10-hour shifts)

You Must Have:

  • High degree of mechanical ability, including familiarity with gears, pulleys and motors
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation
  • Ability to work closely with others at times and provide guidance to peers to ensure the continuous operation of the machine
  • High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to measure using a ruler and evaluate results


We Would Also Prefer:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members
  • High degree of analytical skills
  • Longer-term commitment due to length of time required to thoroughly train
