Job Summary:

Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods. They analyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support these customer requirements. You would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams.

What You Will Do:

Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
Supports weapon assembly
Improve cycle time and lead time
Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
Create and oversee improvement projects
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Perform hardware defect analysis
Participate in corrective action investigations
Work 2nd shift

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with degrees in manufacturing, mechanical, chemical and electrical majors preferred.
This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

Internship experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment
Experience/education with technical writing
Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation
Experience with project execution
3.0 cumulative GPA desired

This position is an onsite role in Huntsville, AL at our facility located on the Redstone Arsenal
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position is 2nd Shift which is 4 x 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, core hours are 2pm to 12:30AM (30 min lunch break)
Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
