The Dallas Materials & Process Team centers on development of assembly methods, materials, and processes for current and next generation microwave and mmwave products, with a very heavy emphasis on cutting-edge automation and materials. You will work hand-in-hand with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing. Responsibilities include design, implementation, and management of existing and custom automation software solutions for automated equipment. Responsibilities will focus on development of process data collection for the factory and Industry 4.0 digital integration engineering efforts. An overall emphasis on improvement ideas for various projects and applications. Additionally, will develop and implement materials and processes, process improvements, and production support using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. Will interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues. The opening would support the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment).

Security Clearance & Other Requirements:

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Requirements:

• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

• Strength and experience in automation software custom solutions

• Innovative individual to develop new processes in data collection & analysis

• Experience working within a team environment

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for 6+ hours a day

• Software programming experience (examples include the following, but not all are required: LabView, C++, C#/.NET, PowerShell, Java, Splunk, SQL, Python, VBA, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Git Version Control, Arduino, etc.)

• Basic understanding of network configuration settings in Windows/Linux

Desired Requirements:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of material properties relationships and test methods

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical data analysis

• Design of Experiment (DOE) techniques

Required Education:

• Must have a BS / BA with a major in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)other related field by Summer 2023
