Experienced MIG/TIG Welder & Cobot Programmer – Direct Hire

Pay: $28-$30 per hour. Location: Mentor, OH. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder with hands-on Cobot programming experience. This is a skilled position requiring previous experience in both welding and Cobot programming. It is not an entry-level welding or programming opportunity. Required Experience: Applicants must have At least 3 years of experience working with and programming Cooper Cobots. At least 5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience. Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols. Experience using measuring and inspection tools, including tape measures and calipers. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work. Dependable attendance and reliable work habits. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Candidates without Cobot programming experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities: Program and operate collaborative welding robots. Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Fabricate metal components according to blueprints and technical drawings. Set up welding equipment, fixtures, and materials. Work with Engineering to develop welding fixtures. Operate an angle grinder to finish and smooth welds. Operate an automatic sawInspect completed work for quality and accuracy. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
