Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing departments (to possibly include fabrication, assembly, welding, shipping/receiving, etc.) in a metals fabrication production facility
• Influence, track, and hold the team accountable for KPIs - including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (SQDC), the output of critical components, plant productivity, etc.
• Confidently make timely decisions that will positively impact production, results, and customer satisfaction
• Audit employee time and production efficiencies, providing coaching for improvements on attendance and performance as needed 
• Comply with the requirements of the ISO Quality Management System and departmental procedures, and work-instructions.
• Comply with all safety and hazardous material procedures, wears protective equipment as required to meet or exceed OSHA and company requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and achieve organizational goals
• Conduct daily meetings with team members to communicate expectations, provide updates, and address any concerns
• Responsible for properly managing and performing all paint department activities in alignment with company and customer quality standards.
• Utilize troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques to resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

Qualifications

• Four-Year College or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years experience supervising production and employees in the sheet metal industry.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience in sheet metal industry
• Ability to lead a team and make decisions for the business
