QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 2-4 years of Machine Shop experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to read and understand English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Calculates dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to read and interpret blueprints to determine proper parts tolerance.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
