Job Overview:

We are working with an established precision manufacturing company in the Wheeling area that is looking to add a CNC Milling Operator to its 1st shift team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC operating experience who wants to join a stable, growing manufacturer producing high-precision components for demanding industries including aerospace, defense, medical, and other advanced manufacturing markets.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision machined components
  • Load and unload parts, materials, and tooling as required
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes
  • Read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications
  • Inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
  • Monitor machines throughout the production process and identify potential quality or tooling issues
  • Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality requirements
  • Complete production documentation and follow established manufacturing procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC milling or CNC machine operating experience
  • Comfortable working in a precision machining/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Familiarity with basic inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers
  • Understanding of machining tools and basic CNC processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • CNC setup experience is a plus but not required
