We are working with an established precision manufacturing company in the Wheeling area that is looking to add a CNC Milling Operator to its 1st shift team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC operating experience who wants to join a stable, growing manufacturer producing high-precision components for demanding industries including aerospace, defense, medical, and other advanced manufacturing markets.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision machined components
- Load and unload parts, materials, and tooling as required
- Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes
- Read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications
- Inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Monitor machines throughout the production process and identify potential quality or tooling issues
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality requirements
- Complete production documentation and follow established manufacturing procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous CNC milling or CNC machine operating experience
- Comfortable working in a precision machining/manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Familiarity with basic inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers
- Understanding of machining tools and basic CNC processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- CNC setup experience is a plus but not required
