Now Hiring: Maintenance Assistant Technician (Foundry)

Are you a proactive individual with strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow your skills in a dynamic foundry environment? We're seeking a Maintenance Assistant Technician to join our team, offering a consistent 1st shift schedule and excellent benefits.

What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Assistant Technician, you'll perform a variety of essential maintenance tasks to keep our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing various machinery and systems, including electrical, heating, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and furnaces.

• Troubleshooting mechanical problems, utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as needed to determine effective solutions.

• Assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, plumbing, and other equipment.

• Performing routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.

• Collaborating with outside vendors to order spare parts and necessary supplies.

• Executing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

• Performing pipe work, including bending, cutting, threading, and sealing joints.

• Installing conduit and pulling wires for electrical systems.

• Supporting all building and facility requirements as directed by the supervisor.

• Assisting with weekly, monthly, and annual EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) inspections.

• Maintaining a neat and organized work area while upholding a respectful and professional demeanor.

This position requires a proactive approach to learning; daily responsibilities will become consistent following an initial training period.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience (BOE)
