Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician repairs, adjusts, maintains, and fabricates machine parts and equipment while maintaining building electrical codes and equipment specifications according to what the company expects in an efficient and safe manner. This position is Forklift Certified. We provide the certification in-house. Has to be HVAC certified.
Due to the physical demands of this job, it is essential that correct lifting techniques, proper body mechanics, as well as applicable safe work practices be utilized.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes daily maintenance work order provided from Maintenance Supervisor. Troubleshoots electrical equipment. Maintains and repairs all production equipment. Troubleshoots production equipment using PLC. Edits programs to accommodate new procedures on existing equipment. Edits programs to control the edition of conveyors or stacking machinery. Arc Flash Trained
Non-Essential Functions
Complies with Cabinetwork’s Group policies and procedures, departmental safety, quality and operational procedures and reports any deviations from the same. Performs necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. Actively participates in process improvements by utilizing Cabinetwork’s Group quality systems. Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
