Job Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY – Design and develop product for Dee Zee and its’ customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT— Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• 3D Modeling
• Generating 2D prints
• Documentation of BOMs and test reports
• Work with customer engineers on development
• Finite element analysis
• Work with suppliers and internal customers on development
• Design of experiments
• Prototyping
SKILLS & ABILITIES
o Ability to follow quality system standards
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Proficient computer skills
o Competent engineering skills
o Problem solving and critical thinking skills
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience: Mechanical related internship experience preferred
Computer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy; understanding of CAD software
Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License
Other Requirements: Must be eligible to obtain a Passport
