Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Position at our Wilmington, OH facility who will be responsible for ensuring plant equipment, building and grounds are maintained to meet production standards and compliance with housekeeping and safety.    

Functional Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting all plant equipment, building and grounds
  • Observe mechanical parts in operation; examine, repair, or replace defective parts; adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Lubricate and clean parts
  • Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make or repair parts
  • Perform routine maintenance
  • May initiate purchase order for parts and machines
  • Keep work area clean and free of debris
  • Assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP’s Work Instructions, and safe quality food system requirements are in compliance

 

Education & Experience

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
